As for designer kids stationary, try officeworks - they have a bunch of 'designer' esqe ranges, and I think Myer have a range (but it's probably more on the expensive end). There are also cutesy stationary available at Morning Glory and other Asian stationary stores.

there are heaps of morning glory shops in chinatown sydney. dixon st, goulburn st and in market city ground floor
