i havnt received it. i think noone has. amex usually really really good. ill give it longer. but if you want it now, just ring them and id be surprised if they didnt mail you one out immediately.

Patience young Padawan. Small print that no one reads says:
"Simply spend $300 or more on your registered Card at any participating retailer before 30 November 2011, and we’ll send you a $30 Westfield Gift Card*.
…
Your $30 Westfield Gift Card will be mailed to the address you registered with, in approximately 4-6 weeks from the end of the promotion period*."And 6 weeks will expire on 11 Jan 12.
And the six weeks is just about up! Anyone got anything yet? I sure haven't, havent even got my $50 back from the deal before!!

I called Amex yesterday about this and they gave me the same explanation as JetBombat.
Asked me to wait a week more and if I didn't get by then, to call back. The call gets transfered to their marketing department.

Still awaitng the $50 ones from the last promo before this $30 one. Have chased and chaed and sent emails, and phone calls etc. They kept saying a few days, then a few weeks, then there has been technical issues and so on. Said it has been posted now last week, and still hasnt arrived. Dunno why i get sucked into these promo's. Lucky I was purchasing the amount at those stores anyway, so I guess getting anything is a bonus!
I received an email saying that I had qualified and would be getting one. This must have been moths ago. I was quite impressed with that - that they let me know I didn't have to try to direct my dollars any longer.
Did anyone else get the email saying your spend was enough?
I received a similar email for one of my amex card, but didn't get one for the other amex card. But, just received gift card for both.

yes, but you need to register when the offer comes up
my nab amex card works, including the additional card holder.
Received two westfield cards for my nab amex today, another one for my davidjones amex.

Funny thing is I live miles and miles away from the nearest Westfield to me and the gift cards have turned up!!! Probably never use them, lol. Pity they havent got all my $50 credits sorted out!!! Grrrrr
Received 1 today but I have no idea which of my AMEX cards it relates to. I am still waiting for 1 moe card.
For those (like me) that are a long ways away from a Westfield … just remember that they have a fair bit of stuff online Here to buy from as well. I have only checked two different items on checkout as a test but both allowed girft cards as a payment option (right at the bottom). At least it could be cheap birthday presents for others … note some items post for free (from JB hifi etc) others have a minimum spend.
Post up if you are successful using the gift cards this way :P
I just used the giftcard as $30 of a $32 order from the westfields website. only $2 appeared on cc.

99.9% sure, cos I think I bought something from there and I qualified….
Also says in the T&C "American Express reserves the right to limit one $30 Westfield Gift Card per Cardmember". Does this mean if I registered with different AMEX cards (ie 1 Amex issued and 1 bank issued card), but both in the same name, they don't have to honour the deal on both cards?
Nah, u will be sweet. Technically it is possible to limit to one, but they haven't in the past. Someone else may be able to confirm/deny this.
Cool. I only received 1 congratulations email saying that I've qualified for the Westfield GC and that was with my bank issued AMEX card. But I have the email for both my cards saying they were sucessfully registered for the promotion.
You should be fine, I think others only have recieved the one email but still got multiple credits/gift cards. I got emails (registered and qualified emails) for both amex and bank issued amex cards. You s hould in theory be getting them in the next few days, i got mine on Friday, others recieved earlier in the week.

I just received the email from Amex Network saying I had qualified for the $30 voucher and it would be send out in 4-6 weeks … 12 days after I received the voucher in the mail and 7+ weeks after the offer ended :P I thought email was meant to be fast n stuff :)

2 gifcards received precisely 6 weeks after the offer ended on NAB Gold cards - both original and supplementary.
Nice work on Amex providing the qualifying email and sending out the giftcard on time. Good improvement.

I reckon Amex network will be laying low for a while after all their promotions last year…just as they start to get their act into gear re reimbursing etc. Probably they were a little taken back on the uptake levels, sure Ozbargain didnt help!!!
My missing card arrived today. I contacted the person in charge of this promotion and within a week the replacement card arrived. Excellent service. Thank you.
no more similar promotion from amex in the last 3 months
I registered for the promotion and have a CBA issued amex. I didn't receive the gift card so called amex who in turn asked me to call CBA. CBA told me that they have nothing to do with the promotion so they can't help me out. I have no clue what to do. If anyone has experience with this sort of situation I would really appreciate any help.
Try this email but be patient as they can take a few days to reply.
