Love the packaging. At first I thought they were books or novels.

Isn't this the regular price on Pet Circle? Also, only recommend the hunter valley and fisherman's feast as the only two with over 40% protein after deducting moisture.

Pet Circle currently is selling at $44 after discount, I believe Ozcat selling $34 is the best price you can find on the market right now.

      • PetBarn has it for $35, Pet Circle has some for $36

        It's still the cheap!

I'm tempted to buy it for my cats, their fussy tho and always hungry. They love the Hills Science weight loss biscuits 😬

    • Thanks for the tip on the protein, and yeah vetalogica was on sale a few days ago at pet circle for ~33

The best cat food in the australian market imo

  • Do these have a palatability guarantee? My cat has ibs and was wondering if going away from the hills/royal canin veterinary diet is an option with these.

  • We recently switched our cats over to this and they all eat it and like it. I agree with the previous comment that it is one of the best cat foods from a nutritional/ingredient standpoint available in Australia.

Biologically Appropriate Cat Food, Fisherman: Australian Mackerel, Tuna, Salmon, Flathead, Snapper and Barramundi

When did Felis catus switch its diet to fish and when did they learn to fish (particular in saltwater, e.g. mackerel, tuna, snapper)?

    • Hm yeah.

I find the brand name amusing, what does biologically appropriate mean? In my mind that means not feeding your car dry biscuits. Our cat once had crystals in her urine (= blood), and the vet said cats should eat a wet meat diet because that’s how they get their water intake. Can do biscuits every now and then, it’s good for their teeth too. Since then we get the frozen kangaroo meat packs at the pet shop. Think it’s Barf or similar.

They said don’t feed them whiskers, whatever we do, it’s equivalent to Maccas due to the high calorie and salt.
