    You shouldn't refrigerate a potato.
    They have long shelf life, put them in a dark, dry part of your kitchen, preferably in a closed cabinet.
    It'll last a month or 2.

    Also, it's 2$, you'll be fine.

      I've never had spuds last that long for some reason. Under the bench, not near the onions, and yet around the best before date they're starting to go green or have those root growth nodule things sprouting.
