I haven't been to the Cricket in a few years now, but I seem to recall that (here in Adelaide at least) provided that day of the Test isn't completely sold out, after the tea break the gates are opened and you can come in for free.
Can anyone confirm that this is the case, and whether it also applies elsewhere around Australia?
I'm going to be in Sydney next week, staying not far from the SCG, and I won't have a whole day to spend at the cricket, but if I could sneak into the last session of a day or two for free I would be a happy man.
Cheers
In Sydney, only the final session of play is free entry. So you either have to follow the score and see if it occurs in Day 4 or 5 or hope that it goes to Day 5 tea.
