Yes, I copied the title and table from the prior post.
But here's some value adds:
As per this article:
- Sunscreen has a use-by date.
- Sunscreen cooks (and is denatured) by heat.
"Sunscreens have to be stable at up to 40 to 45 degrees. But an Australian car can reach up to 60 to 70 degrees in autumn or spring, let alone summer."
In addition,
the difference between SPF30+ and SPF50 protection is
only1.3%.Cancer Council warns against use of aerosol sunscreens. But of course, no protection vs some protection, some protection is better.
May I suggest using the SunSmart app?
Posted in the equivalent thread earlier this week, before it got nuked.
Anyway, I'm a fan of the Nivea SPF50+. Bought a 1 litre tub again. Offers good protection (use it as described, re-apply after extended periods in water etc), and I don't find that it leaves my skin greasy, fairly neutral smell too compared with some other brands.
