Help! What Are These Amazing Tasting Grapes?

Heya,

Just wondering if any grape connoisseurs could help me out with identifying these please?

My parents gave me some grapes today and they were unlike the other grapes I've had in the past. They've got an unusual taste, kinda similar to what a overwhelmingly grape flavoured lollie or soft drink taste like?? Almost artificially fragrant and sweet.

These were bought from a fruit & veg shop so there were no labels. My parents did not know the variety name either.

    We got these the other day as well and ours were branded as Cotton Candy grapes…

    you can get green coloured ones that they call cotton candy grapes.

      You can but don't. Really not worth it past the first 3 pieces.

      These look like standard red grapes when ripe and at their peak are sublime.

        Really? Wish I had have known that before the daughter and I smashed the whole bunch we had in a single sitting. I was non-plussed when I learnt that I would have to share them with my child. Nearly caused a fight on who would get the most. (She beat me in a best of 3 thumb wrestle, but I pulled rank after also being beaten 3~2 in rock/paper/scissors)

    Go back to the fruit & veg shop or call them saying their grapes are amazing.

    The green version is called Cotton Candy, sold at woolies. Tastes exactly as you describe
