I am wondering how far I would stretch this since this is for the bedroom (and the fact that a bub is on the way). Already have the JBL 5.1 for the living room
Does this have an app to mix the sound or is it done through the remote?
What do you mean by mix sound?
There is an App (link) that allows you to change everything the remote allows you to change, and from what I recall you also need the app to set up Alexa and update the firmware. But it doesn't have any additional audio controls like a multi-band equalizer or anything like that.
Yes equaliser is what I meant. I listened to it in store and I couldn't find a way to turn down the sub slightly which I found to overpower the mid and treble on bass heavy songs.
You can change the subwoofer volume, from the app and the remote. And you get 5 preset sound profiles.
This is great value for money. Bought one for $399 about a year ago. This is one of the highest rated budget soundbars out there. Has the deepest and cleanest bass of any sub $500 sound bar I’ve heard.
