Soniq brand of TV any good, only JB Hi-Fi stock this TV. how does it compare to the big manufacturers like Samsung. It is only LCD I'D like it to be LED. For a 55" I'd like to have a TV that is at least 200Hz but this price is good for the big screen size. I will check out TV's tomorrow at JB Hi-Fi in the City.
Soniq do make good TV's. but many name brands are coming in with fantastic prices on their screens, I think Soniq could do a bit better in the pricing department now.

Soniq use the offloaded Samsung & LG panels that don't pass the manufacturers quality control.

Looks like last years Okano with a new badge.
I own the Okano and it's merely okay, does the job, but you get what you pay for.
I have had a look at their 3d model and its rubbish. 50hz and passive 3d? lol
I had a look at their 42 lcd 100hz and was not greatly impressed. meh was my inclination and that was based on the low price.
I had a look at their 55" and didnt think it was flash either.
All the soniqs were built cheap and looked cheap when they dont necessarily have to do so.
A brand that I have seen and that has impressed me was the Vizio (in US). Its cheap but its cutting edge and their quality standards is much higher. eg For about the same price as the soniq youd get a led lcd, 120hz 3d and to boot its a SMART TV with full load of apps and doesnt look like cheap shit.
Would be awesome if Vizio would come to Oz too (though might not happen based on their bad experience).
The 42" FHD LED they have is a very nice TV. I have not taken much notice of their others, but the colours on this one are fantastic.
dicksmith 40" looks better, this is crap. saw in store, THE worst picture ever.
