This isn't GREAT for dashcams - I'd be using a MAX Endurance, WD Purple, or Samsung PRO Endurance card for dashcams.

I corrupted one of these in a Blueskysea B1W within a month and another in a Blackvue in 2 months. Cheap price, however.

    • I have a regular ol' Extreme 64GB in mine and have had for near 4 years now without any issues. always works when i need to pull a clip off the card.

id suspect that unless you are doing a ton of kms all day every day its more likely to be a fake card than corrupted

I think it might've been due to parking mode - regardless, I'll be buying one of the 3 above (which have 5-10 year warranty compared to the 2 years on this) for my next dashcam. There's rumours that the High Endurance might not even be MLC.

Card came from a legitimate vendor.

        • I was literally about to grab one of these cards for my B1W and I also using parking mode. Tried 2 different SD cards and I keep getting he "SD Card low speed" error. Was hoping this would fix it but looks like it won't!

If you had 2 fail in this short period I would definitely question their authenticity regardless of source. I've been using mine (2 of them) for years without a glitch and I drive a lot.

  • Grabbed one for Dashcam - will see how it goes.

Haven't had an issue with my 32GB blackvue card but only gets about 2 days recordings stored.

  • After experiencing corruption on a Samsung EVO+ I've switched to the Sandisk High Endurance to see how it fares in my dashcam.

  • I’ve gone down a dashcam SD card rabbit hole.
    Everyone’s got their own opinion.

It’s a good price but will it die in Australian summer?

    • I just pulled the trigger on the max endurance, I thought I should just go one the safe side rather than save a few bucks.

  • Price now $28.15 sold and fulfilled by Amazon.
