Probably shouldn't have left it until the last day. So, I went to QV Big W today and they said limit of 2 per person, no multiple transactions. The Woolworths opposite had none in stock. Nearby Dicksmiths didn't have enough. Do you know where in Melbourne I'd be able to purchase 8 sims and recharges?

What a crock! I've been buying them three at a time and would have had no problem if I'd picked up more. Perhaps BigW is simply low on stock?
The suggestion was made to return the sims if you had no intention of using them. I did enquire at BigW when I went there and was told they would happily take them back. So, what I'm thinking, if you were to return your 'unwanted' sims to any of the applicable retailers …. woolies or dick smith by the sound of it, they would then have some in stock to sell you more.
They have heaps of stock. At least 100. But they said two per person limit. :/

There was no one at the registers so they told me to go to the girl at electronics. Should I just try again later today? You just confuse them by saying you don't want the extra SIMs. The offer is valid only if you buy both. If you buy the additional recharges without a SIM, the system will not give you the discount. But you can return the unwanted SIMs after you have paid. That would confuse the girl but not the system.

I was asked on two occasions at BigW how many prepaid accounts I already have, to which I answered 2 and they had no difficulty in selling me the three I was buying at the time.
I figured if I hadn't yet activated any of them I wasn't lying when I still said two the second time around.If I'd known woolworths weren't even going to ask for id I'd have gone there in the first place - it would have saved a lot of time.
