Cheapest Way to Get a Mobile Number to Port to Kogan?

The number I was going to use to port to Kogan no longer receives a service for not being used for a few months. What's the cheapest/easiest sim card to get a number to port over to Kogan currently?

    Why do you need to port a number?

    Kogan will give you a new number when you activate the SIM card they send you.

      A recent deal required you to port over. The person I was going to port over hadn't used their belong sim for a few months that they were going to port and can no longer receive txt msgs which they need to in order to port the number over.

    Attempt to port over with the belong sim, then call kogan and say you can't access that number anymore. They will cancel the port and activate the sim with the number on the sim pack. Process takes a couple of hours.
