Have never seen stage 1 go on a decent discount. Woolworths has the same price, but if you are like me and cbf going to the shops with babies in tow then Amazon is the way to go + bulk buying without dirty looks (limit of 6)

Usually dispatched within 2 to 4 weeks.

  • This is going to sound odd but how many litres of milk would this make?

Can adults substitute this for milk?

    • I can't believe I looked this up to answer, but it looks like roughly the same powder weight (130g vs 140g) to make up 1L of formula vs cows milk. Except the 1kg powdered milk is less than half the price.
This is more like a meal substitute - milk plus fat, sugar, vitamins and minerals.

        So not worth replacing then

    • I have smelt and tasted formula milk before.. Its so bad…

      • If it saves money taste isn't an matter to me going through a nasty divorce at the moment need to save a such as possible

        • Go Rice, beans, vegetables.

same price at woollies, they are usually always on special either coles or wollies takes turn.
Plus Woolworths rewards % or fly buys points.

    • So why the neg?

    • Probably not worth the neg tho? unless it’s a dupe from woolies deal, even then Amazon price matches like this are always posted on OzB

I did write down that Woolworths is the same price?

Never seen stage 1 go on special, mostly it's stage 3+.

I can buy 6 on Amazon without judgement yet if I did at the shops (with the babies at home coz cbf) I would probably get dirty looks being Asian as well.

      Free box, woohoo!

Just a quick fyi, stage 1/2 also go on special when stage 3 is advertised in the Woolworths catalogue. I assume there is some sort of ban on advertising actual formula (stage 3 isn't really formula). But I totally agree that ordering on Amazon is easier and nice for bulk buying!

Source: bought an insane amount of nan optipro last year.

        • Ah OK, I'm mostly used to buying Aptamil for first bub and I've never seen that Stage 1+2 discounted for 1.5 years , only 3+. First time on NAN 😊

  • Optipro 1 and 2 are on special as well at $17.25. A little cheaper than special on Woolies and chemist warehouse. And saves you social interactions as well!!

  • Even if you spend over 39, you still have to pay for shipping if you are not a prime member.

    • Shows up as free delivery with $39 spend for me, I'm not a Prime member but have never paid shipping for these.
