Do people here order things from there? It's $50 cheaper than the cheapest Tray version in Australia. Any issues buying from AliExpress?

Same experience here, BUT I ordered a couple of bits of bling for my car last week and they arrived yesterday. Not sure why but that's the quickest I've ever got anything from China so maybe the op will luck out.
My only concern with buying a CPU would be in terms of warranty and if it is genuine.
As others have said, the worst that's happened is delayed shipping even pre-covid. For no-name electronics, I guess quality may vary but you usually get what you pay for. But for specific brands, can't say I've bought too many PC parts cause I'm concerned about build/genuineness/warranty/
I would be worried about it being fake. I know there are TONS of fake gpus there.
I've order a CPU from AliExpress with no problems, that seller has 100+positive reviews & is obviously legit. Just remember if you decide to pay for an international item you will be hit with an additional 10% tax from our Government, extra $22.50
How would they know unless they go through the package and hold it up at customs? Maybe I should buy from CCPU, they are selling them for $280 without the cooler.
I ordered a R5 3600 with Cooler for $285 from eDozer last week. Ships from NSW and they are in stock rn. https://edozer.com.au/collections/cpus/products/amd-ryzen-5-…
That's a good price, thanks.
It's added at the checkout
The only issue I've experienced with AliExpress over the years is sometimes extended periods before items arrive.
Up to 3 months from some sellers. However I've also had purchases arrive in 2- 3 weeks.
However if you aren't in a hurry their prices are usually hard to beat and are often 1/2 the eBay price.
