Everyone is well aware how jealous you are of dealbot when he managed to post the Epic giveaway instead of you, hence you were negged.
@Lysander: You've been caught multiple times trying to undermine dealbot's Epic Games deals for the bigger part of 2020. You reliably show up with salty comments when dealbot posted the Epic giveaway every week.
When he posted a russian gog + vpn deal, you're back at it, trying discourage people from the deal, with your anecdotal "friend getting banned from gog!", and telling people to pay full price, no VPN plz. But, after seeing it got 710+ votes, you imitated him anyway. 🤣

When that didn't work, you tried playing the victim with claims of 'harassment', 'personal attacks', 'bullying', blah blah blah.

@payton: Honestly, it should already be a well established routine for gamers to check Epic Games every Friday (aside from special holiday periods) for the free game - even if you don't like the game, it's barely any effort to add a free game to your library. It's not that much effort either to just simply be awake and refresh the store page to see what next week's freebie is. It's quite petty to be jealous of someone who beats you to a low effort post.
@divineiniquity: Its also because an Epic freebie can get a Deal of The Month status with $100 awarded to the poster plus recognition.
Weekly Epic deals also regularly receive > 450+ votes and those are just the regular games. A popular game can hit double that value.
There is a separate Most Deals Posted competition and the weekly Epic is crucial in boosting the Average Votes value on the scorecard.
Hence the hostility when he can't have 100% exclusivity on this potential goldmine.
@payton: It might be hard to implement but I kind of feel these low effort posts (also think back to the weekly Humble Bundle ones when it was still "pay what you want") should not count towards these awards.
Even say weekly groceries catalogues you actually have to read through it all to filter for something you think is good.

Haven't played this in a long time buy i can give a few tips.
1) The global chat (warchat) is basically 4chan. The chat feature can be disabled. (Mod: Comment modified to remove inapprorpate reference)
2) Of the DLC's available, all are good except the Netherlands which is really nothing special and not worth the money.
3) The 15 man squads aren't really worth the price.
4) Send the infantry to engage other infantry first and then send the accompanying vehicle. Otherwise, it usually gets deleted or stunned.

Finally we get this game. This was a prevoiusly relesed free game but temporarily delayerd by Epic Games for some unknown reason.
I think we will get it this time around although I will only count my chickens when they are safe. Last time it was changed one day or a few hours before it was supposed to go free. I am confident though that this time around we will be fine.
@dealbot and all - is it possible to have the release date of the game in the deal title

I played this game before, the gears of China appear in this game are basically the ones used before 2000.
That's intentional, it's set in 1991.

Due to some weird things with the way the Epic store works you might have to click it then go back and click it again or it will show the non-free DLC too.
Epic really needs to fix there store. You can only buy one item at a time. You can't add multiple items to the checkout and pay in one transaction.
