The Good Guys Matching The Good Guys Commercial in Store?

Hi all

Assuming a store has stock does anyone know if they will generally match TGGC prices so I can accelerate my bargain with discounted gift cards?

Depends on who you ask (and probably what you're buying). Talked to two different people at the same store - one guy was happy to help us match the commercial price, the other gave a flat 'no'. Although to be fair, I bought a washing machine and fridge with the first guy so it probably helped his KPIs a lot… Second time I was buying a $20 smart plug.

Yep done it twice before once on a dishwasher & the other a TV.
The benefits of this is that you can use discount gift cards as payment

damn, i recently bought a dishwasher and asked one bloke in store if they could get me that price and he said no, ordered on my phone and 3 minutes later got an email saying ready for pickup out the back.
