Weber from David Jones? They have a 15% off all BBQs and accessories

I was at DJ in Melbourne on Boxing day looking for a Weber Q bargain. I spoke to one of the sales rep there, but did not get any answers. The Weber units were not ticketed, no pricing and they were reluctant talk.

I was told that they have no stock, and the deal will go on for two weeks.

Walked over to Myer @ Swanston St ( QV building) , the lady in there refused to price match, stating that DJs have no stock, but she has them.

So I am wondering if anyone managed to get their Webers during this holiday period ?

    the weber q's are generally exempt for any sales as they have low margins.

      yeah but the whole point is that the flyers says 15% off all BBQs.
      I am just wondering if anyone actually managed to order or pick one up from them.

      Definitely on sale, they've had this 15% off special for a few weeks now; we looked at their prices before Xmas and noticed they were higher than Weber's RRP anyway so the discount wasn't all that great. I think it was $719 for the $699 model.

      We went to one of Weber's Specialist suppliers and asked them to price match on the accessories and throw in a free plate and they did it with no problems. Our store had stock so that wasn't an issue (Marion SA) but the BBQ place didn't check.

      Can you raincheck it? Tried calling all DJ's in your area? Also there are lists of the dealer on the weber website.

    I went on Friday and a nice gentleman Jacob helped us out with the order.
    He said that we should expect our stock Mid Jan.
