Outriders is a third-person sci-fi shooter mixed with elements from role-playing games. In the beginning of the game, players create their custom characters and choose from four classes, each of them has unique abilities that the players can utilize. The four classes include Trickster, which has the ability to manipulate time, the Pyromancer, which can manipulate fire, the Devastator, which can unleash seismic attacks, and the Technomancer. These special skills have a short cooldown time and can be combined with other skills for maximum effects. The game features a skill tree that allows players to unlock and upgrade their skills.

Official release date: 1st April 2021.

Demo file size: 22-24 GB.
No-preload, demo will be release at 26th Feb 4am AEDT on the dot.
Some progress will carry over to retail/full game (eg: PS5 demo -> PS5 retail)
PS5 and PS4 players will need a PS Plus account to download (?)
This game supports cross-play.

    It won't. It's not a "game as a sevice" unlike those two. So no need to worry about the lack of content and broken promises since it'll be a complete game with no planned content updates.

      Am i right in saying this is more of a 'borderlands' than a destiny?
      Have they said about needing internet connection while playing?

        Definitely more like Borderlands. I don't know if it's always online but the devs have said you can play it entirely solo.

          @NightShift: Alright, sounds pretty good. I like destiny (at times), but really didnt want it to be close to that.

          @Ravensbane Damn that sucks to hear. I played a decent bit of Division 1 solo back years ago and got significant lag at times, which sucks a lot given i was playing literally solo story missions, so no matchmaking at all.
          Always online on a not actually online game is very sh*t in my opinion. Sure it prevents piracy, but that has literally already been proven multiple times as to barely affect sales, so preventing it is kinda moot.

  Thanks for this - demo was fun, was instantly hooked with the storyline and gameplay, I tried out 3/4 of the classes love them all! Can't wait for the full version, should be an awesome game!
