Got this off their Facebook, first time customers only, it's not their full range that's free but a decent range (& discount off the rest makes them between $2-30 it seems)), apparently shipping is reasonable. Can use for prescription sunglasses at extra cost.
Also interestingly they have a guarantee that I'd be interested to try - that if you're not satisfied with the glasses, donate them to lions & firmoo wil repay you your full price paid incl shipping.

Needed some glasses with a tint for driving as my transitions don't tint in the car.
Ended up being cheaper on http://www.zennioptical.com/ I got frames lenses and 80% tint delivered for around $22
Edit: clearly contacts doesn't seem to let you tint the lenses any more.
I think it's as much the choice of frame design & color, as cost, that helps me make my mind up to buy or not.
Of course, so far, I've only received good quality (if not always perfect fitting) glasses.
If quality ever changes for the worse, then I'd stop buying the "cheapies"
ASAP, if IF there were any local, "non-cheapies" to buy from, by then. :-/
The company says they're located in New York, but make glasses in China.
PayPal associates the name: "song fei" with FIRMOO.
Please CHANGE the title on this Deal… Not 100% Free (It costs more than S+H),
and it's not $6 cheaper (but $8); Still, it's a LOW total cost (including S+H).
This is the first online glasses shop I've seen to offer Frames WITHOUT lenses,
etc. :-)
It seemed that it was only the $8 frames that were free, not the entire glasses
(as we've gotten used to, eg, in (past) Clearly Contacts offers).
From the "Chinglish" language bloopers, in some of Firmoo's web page texts,
I'd say these guys are Chinese (although I don't know where they'll be ship-
ping from, etc.)
Not all options come free… REDEEMING the "FIRMOOFREE" coupon only got us
an $8 discount… (Shipping to AU was $18.75, on top of glasses: $41.85)
It pays to order (at least) 2 pair together (they ship for same $18.75;
and, if you think of the $8.00 discount as reducing the S+H charges,
they ship - together - for just $10.75, if ordered together):
Still… $41.85 + (part of) $10.75 isn't bad for Transitions
2nd Pair $14.90 + (part of) $10.75
If I were an Aussie Optician… well, I think I'd be looking for a new profession.
(Seriously, I think even our "low-price" SpecSavers "lives" on "Insurance jobs"
& maybe Medicare-reimbursed eye-tests.
With cheap imports on offer, as from Clearly Contacts (earlier)
and FirmOO (above), they can't - or, soon, won't - be
making much from their "low-price" sales.)
My 2.2 cents only…
PS FirmOO let's you order "fashion" glasses, with no-effect lenses!
Anyone wanting to sport, say, Ghandi glasses, while the world is at war…
here's your chance, even over your contact lenses! :-)
