  • whats the benefit using it ?
i know some people who are buying the lightest blanket as possible

maybe ask them why they are buying the lightest blanket possible, and then assume the reverse for the people by the heavy blanket?

      • What a shitty way to respond to some genuine question

It was made in good humour, obviously, I missed the mark by some order of magnitude. My bad.

      • FYI, I found this comment hilarious.

    • They claim that it helps reduce anxiety and helps individuals to relax/sleep etc. I don't own one, so can't confirm these claims unfortunately.

      Benefits include:
You feel hot and wake up sweating
You will make everybody cringe when they see you using this abomination
You will have a bulky useless item around your house
You will eventually throw it in a landfill (it will end up in ocean if you’re lucky)
You will be part of a new global movement. An exciting opportunity to join like minded individuals who likes to buy rubbish on the internet and pay top dollar for it
You will contribute in the ultimate destruction of the planet

Another way to compare blankets is how heavy it is over a set area. In this case, it's 0.28m2 / kg.

The 7kg version is 0.44m2/kg (lighter)

The Spotlight Koo 9kg version is 0.34m2/kg

The Spotlight Koo 7kg version is 0.32m2/kg

The whole point of reaching adulthood is to stop being a child. Mimicking childhood conditions with gimmicks such as this seems like regression. You want people to become more mature and tougher, not regress into idiocy.

These things are the latest trend in the online shopping viral cringe

Clubhonda you obviously don't know much about these weighted blankets. My wife works with adults with down syndrome and autism and these blankets really do work. They fall asleep quicker some have had there medication reduced for anxiety. What is more mature and tougher got to do with people born with these disabilities that use these blankets.

Then classify that as a medical device for people with sickness. A fully grown normal and healthy adult don't need an infancy inducing device like this.

I bought one of these from Kogan, just letting you know they aren't the best quality and the beads aren't as good as a good quality blanket. They tend to bunch up
