    Link broken for me.

  • Problem with Chinese tablet they looks good in spec but lots other thing that are not mentioned are not good. For example, become hot, battery depleted faster (so yeah battery has quality too not just mAh) wifi drops build quality, etc etc

    • I hear the aldocube and teclast brands are Very good.

    • No name CPU isn't even good in spec

    • The A$120 unbranded tablet that I bought from China about 5 years ago is still working fine. The battery lasts for days without getting hot. The wifi never drops out.

Have the Iplay 20 for about 6 months now and quite impressed with it. Unisoc chip seems to perform well (SC9863A), battery life is great.
That said, I only paid ~$180 for that model.

    • I’d rather get a local tab A7 than this, it has quad speakers too and snapdragon 662 so not completely hopeless. The reviews on YouTube make these Allcube tablets appear good. However some of the specs such as the lesser known SoC, lack of support in terms of software updates longterm, and any hardware issues you may encounter make these deals less appealing.

I have the iPlay 20 and it was a great buy, particularly at $170. At nearly double the price I'd be a lot more dubious about this and I feel like the price is too close to the base model iPad, and so it makes more sense to get that unless you have a particular need for Android.

    • i agree too close to ipad price which would last at least 2 to 3 times longer

Where do you get a comparable size iPad brand new with LTE and 128GB Storage for $400-$500?

Now I would not recommend this at all but an iPad at comparable size, storage and has LTE would easily double price.

        • This is probably more comparable with the Air model than the base model iPad too. The base model doesn’t get quad speakers or even a laminated screen. I think it’s a silly comparison anyhow. If you were looking for a tablet for multimedia, perhaps emulate some games and similar type of stuff you would want an Android tablet, Android tablets pretty much win at multimedia because of the screen aspect ratio and that pretty much all I do with my tablet. Mobile gaming I don’t like with their pay to win model, so if I was going to game I would just emulate and that’s harder on iPads.

@Ronnnie: For multimedia though these Chinese tablets don't have Widevine L1 so I went with the Samsung Tab A7, and also for software support. At least the Samsung budget tablet get 2 OS update and quarterly security patch which isn't so bad.

  • These chinese tablets usually have limitations due to licencing for streaming apps/codecs and tend to be limited to SD. At least my last one was.

    • Nice! I searched Banggood but didn't get any results. Must have been coz I didn't put a space in "iPlay40".

      • Last month pre order was 248 AUD

        • now that's a good price. Same price as the iPlay30 was when on sale.

    • Are you gonna post it as a deal?

    • To save others having to follow the link and clicking through to checkout, the price from Banggood with GST added is US$259.99 delivered. So about US$4 cheaper but doesn't come with screen protector or options to pay A$1.50 more for case and other extras.

      • Banggood is sneaky, Au website was 300AUD before. Now is close to 400AUD

    • 2GB less RAM, smaller screen, no band 28…

    • 4GB less RAM, smaller screen, lower res camera, no band 28

      • Yeah, not a comparable product, just for those who want cheaper lower spec tabley
