AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU + Asrock B450M Steel Legend Motherboard Bundle $369 + $9.90 Shipping @ PC Byte

260

This is the same deal as Phreebee posted on 17/02/2021 but a few things have changed. The original deal was for $389 including shipping but this deal is for $369 + shipping of $9.90 which means it's $10.10 cheaper than before.

Maybe the price just needs amending on the original deal but didn't want people to miss it if they already viewed the original post. Anyway my first post so not sure how this all works on OB.

1% surcharge on Zip Pay, PayPal and card payment via PayPal.

  • Is this good combo for Adobe Lightroom, photoshop and light video editing?

    • With 16gig ram and nvme

      • +1

For some light video editing should be ok. You might want to upgrade your ram to 32gb later if it's a bit sluggish. I'm not sure what difference a few more cores would make.

should be ok if you are not doing 4k video edits. I'm building a 4k video editing PC atm and it's costing me a fortune!

  • Does this support nvme drives or only data m.2 does anyone know

    • It has support for 2 nvme slots

      • Thanks appreciate it was not sure as it only said m.2 knew they shared the same slot type Sata and nvme but different standards so was not sure but thanks might pull the trigger on this

  • Good for gaming on a budget? What's the recommended graphics card? GTX 16x0?

Too old to keep up with tech

      Yeah.

Whatever you can get, could handle a 3080 as long as you're not at 1080p

    • +1

Yea mate this is a great CPU choice for gaming. Plenty of new gaming PCs still use these.
If you're on a budget, the 1660 would be a decent choice. Maybe a second hand 2060. The AMD card prices have all gone through the roof. Everyone is using them for mining.
