    Yeah the recent renovations have absolutely destroyed everything that made it great. Its now like an airport bar, completely atmosphere-free.

      …damn. its been going that way since the late 90s i guess
      i remember the upstairs bandroom back in the day of the concrete pillars and the sticky carpets and the sweaty moshpits and warm st kilda nights…
      so many good times and so many great bands. sigh.

        Well the bandroom is still intact as far as I know, I was at a gig there before covid hit and it was still very much sticky and sweaty. Hopefully it survives!

    I haven't been up to the band room since the refurb, but downstairs is definitely the latter – for better or worse.

  Had a tasting paddle at Little Creatures when I visited in Perth, and this was my favourite…but then found out that it's only sold in WA, damn!

  Does this offer mean Elsie is available outside WA now?
