Great shoes, very comfortable.
Got myself a pair of blue ones for $101 (using a 15% off coupon) on ebay: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Saucony-Mens-RIDE-ISO-2-Sneakers…
How does these compare to the Triumph?
They are very similar, but the Triumph provides more cushioning (too much if you ask me) due to thicker midsole. Also, the Triumph seems to be about 15% heavier
Good deal for Saucony Triumph 18 on Catch: https://www.catch.com.au/product/saucony-triumph-18-mens-sho…
Almost bought them for myself but then finally found the Ride ISO 2 in my size and for a good price
UPD. Oops, didn't realize that only some sizes were $85 there
The Triumph provides alot more cushioning and support than the ride, however, the Triumph a slower (less responsive) shoe in my opinion. Definitely pick the Triumph if you do more than 3 x 10km + per week. Your ankles will thank you.
I find running in Ultraboost for speed work or moderate distances to be better value than the Ride, especially because Ultraboost often go for ~$110 after all the discount and cashback. It is easier to have as a regular running shoe, new shoes every 3-4 months, compared to the Ride which normally sits at around $160 even with discounts.
