eBay Issue with new 10% off code using Afterpay: New deal Not Working, Not Posted as an OzBargain deal yet

Am seeing a new banner in Ebay with 10% off using Afterpay on selected items (goes to 12% for Ebay Plus members). Here is a link to the info on it.

Codes are PAPY10 for 10% and PLUSAY12 for 12% (Ebay Plus only).

I thought about posting this as a Deal, but the code isn't working at all. I'm trying items in the list of eligible items too, but the discount is not coming off when I go to checkout, select Afterpay and enter the code for 10% off.

I've tried multiple items in the eligible list. Nothing is working. Anyone maybe know why? Perhaps it's just been posted on ebay and isn't quite working yet.

    It was posted this morning on OzBargain and removed due the code not working, it's not clear what the issue is. Someone can post it again as a deal, once/if it starts working again.

      Was in chat with ebay support. They're looking into it. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

    Maybe there is a start time eg 6pm tonight that they forgot to include in the T&Cs

      Perhaps it is targeted, but they showed the banner to non-targeted people. I'll keep trying I guess.

      I don't have an Afterpay account yet, but I don't think that's the issue. I've also tried to check out as a guest on ebay. No luck either.

      Edit: I created a new Ebay account as well. Didn't work. Says, "This code can't be applied to your order" and this is by choosing any items from the eligible list shown.

    Believe there is a $100 min spend. And it looks like it has to be a single item above that amount. It's not allowing afterpay as a payment method for even for two items from the same seller.

      Yes, they did. Am pretty happy. I kept trying every hour until it worked a few hours ago. Was on chat with them for a while yesterday (mainly me waiting on "hold" until they tried stuff and got back to me).

      They realised it was their mistake, but needed time to fix it.
