    I'm surprised this app passed review and made it in to the App Store, as the app can't possibly do what it says.

    There are no APIs to manage the battery, best it can do is report whats going on.

    Yep, when you plug in your phone, it will get charged.

    When your battery is fully charged, the Trickle Charge mode will allow your battery to be charged in a very light manner and avoid overcharging your battery.

    These things are already standard in the iPhone. This app does NOT control the charging algorithms.

    Lithium ion batteries if charged incorrectly are dangerous, hence apple has circuitry to protect the battery from not only over charging, but also over temperature.

    Also apple is very locked down about letting any apps access/control the phone (sandboxed) so I don't see how this app could possible do anything other than drain the battery while its trying to be charged.
