Purchased 24-Feb-19. Inside I found the much desired WD100EMAZ-00WJTA0 ‘helium’ drive.
Interestingly this drive is noticeably quieter in spin-up/on/read+write states than its 8TB RED cousin (WD80EFZX). Other considerations for those thinking about purchasing one will be the US power plug and unclear warranty coverage. Aus units have a 2 year warranty, so you may find yourself leaning on Amazon’s usually very good customer support if issues.
Judging by this recent thread you are safe with 8TB and up for now. I wouldn't generally buy drives based on 2yr old reviews though as the manufacturers do change the drive inside the enclosure at times.

You cannot make any assumptions about what drive is in an enclosure. That's the deal you make when you buy one of these. All you're guaranteed is the capacity. That's it.
If you want a guarantee then you'll have to buy a particular model of drive.
