This post contains affiliate links. OzBargain might earn commissions when you click through and make purchases. Please see this page for more information.

Space marine: $37.49
Shogun 2: $14.99
Street fighter 4: $5.00
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 : $49.99
Saints Row: The Third $33.99

And other games which I believe are cheaper or as cheap as steam promotion. The only problem we have to deal with is that you will need an USA address, and my suggestion is just google any hotel addresses in USA and use it as your account details.
I just download Might and Magic 6 deluxe edition yesterday with only $19.99( apparently it jumped back to $43.99 which is still cheaper than steam at the moment). And everything's been good until now!

You guys can use the code to activate on steam as I can do it with deus Ex two days ago and other members also confirm that too!!

I hope this time the promotion will last longer than my last post!!
Good luck you guys!!

Edited: There can be some game can not be activated on Steam as "Feepitee" just mentioned with street fighter 4 and he suggested to use this link to check https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7480-wus…
HOWEVER, according to his link, my deus ex should not be activated on Steam but, in fact, it is activated on steam?! So i'm not sure if we can count on this link or not?!

The European financial situation is now so dire that they've stop dealing in currency and are now dealing in basic commodities like units of seafood.

  • So can these games be activated on steam? Has anyone had trouble with this?

    • Just found the answer to my question.

You can activate it on Steam. Just did it for Dungeon Defenders.

      • yeah, thank for your confirmation!!!

    • Um, don't just buy the game assuming it will work on Steam. Go to the description, and it should say if this game require Steam or not.
Games on this list work with Steam:
      https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7480-wus…
Street Fighter IV up there doesn't activate on Steam.

      • Thanks for your link. But my deus ex's key some how does not match with the format in this website but I can still activate it on steam!
Steam said that the key should have format : 1AB2C-D3FGH-456I7
        but my key is :9xxx4-xx7xx-x8xxx
And I and other members http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/60453
        just activate them on steam.
So confused!!! Please tell me as I'm still new in this, thank alot for your help.

        • As long as Amazon says that it requires a Steam account to play, you should be safe. Yeah I also got Deus Ex.
Your key does match, Valve just places random numbers and letters, but all it means is 5 letters and numbers - 5 letters and numbers - 5 letters and numbers

    Dead Island - $12.99USD (Steam-activated)

Deus Ex: Human Revolution - $9.99USD (it CAN be Steam-activated).

    • That's the cheapest Dead Island has ever been. I don't think you'll be seeing it cheaper during the Steam Winter Sale.

      Thanks.

      • Not a worry — hopefully you and a few others picked it up. It's back to ~$27 now.

      • It was actually $8.50 at the beginning of the Steam sale for a few hours and the 4-pack was $20.

It was because the current 33% off overlapped into the 50% off daily deal on Sunday.
