Been trying to find a sit-stand electric desk for a while now to help with my back/posture issues.
I can find a few cheaper ones on Matt Blatt/Kogan for around ~$320 but they don't rise as high and the warranty is ~5yrs and I imagine a pain if needed whereas IKEA is $499 with a 10yr guarantee. I'm only after something 120cm wide. Ikea looks like the best option but $500 for a desk just feels like too much.
Any other suggestions on where to look?

+1 for the Officeworks Matrix desk.
Only recommendation is to install the desktop backwards on the frame and don't use the cage for the desk motor power brick (just screw it straight into the desk), otherwise your knees will have a really bad time.

What on earth are you expecting especially at the amount of money you're willing to spend!
You want to pay bottom dollar, have all the features AND extended warranty support?
You have grossly unrealistic expectations. Quality sit/stand stations are into the thousands and you're balking at products in the $500 range.
An Ikea manual sit/stand desk is $249, perhaps this is inline with your budget and expectations.
I was suffering from shoulder pain issue while working with computer in my home office and I bought this electric desk comes with a touch screen controller, the dual motors which do not give any noises while moving up and down.
The desk feels solid and sturdy mainly it comes with a child lock option.
The auto-locking system is included for height adjustment.
