    These cards do work well.

Though, I wish SanDisk would stop making their cards faster, and work on making them more consistent.

Video and software are more common on sdcards now than photos; having amazing burst performance is fine, but strange slowdowns when your memory heats up, is not ideal for a significant user base.

This is why Samsung is popular.

    • Would this be OK for dashcam use case?

get the endurance one linked below.

      • No.

Older slow ones will work fine, but the newer ones will want to write data constantly, and fast; you want the "endurance" range.

I bought this same card ShoppingSquare. Beware: if you order, even though they are local stock, it will take AGES to dispatch. When I ordered, my item was dispatched 3 weeks after I paid and arrived 1-2 weeks later.

    • Was going to buy, but can not wait for 5 weeks

      • If you have an Amazon Prime account, the high endurance is $28.99 or $23.99 for the ultra delivered next day depending on your location.

  • The speed ratings are confusing.
The Ultra 120 is rated U1
However the Endurance is rated U3 despite being slower (100mbps)

    🤷‍♂️

    • You're not wrong, and Sandisk go out of their way to make it even more confusing than usual.

U3 refers to write speed, at least 30MBytes/second. This is the highest "U" rating there is, for cards that go faster than 30MBytes/sec they add a "V" rating, like "V90" if the card can write at 90MBytes/sec.

The "120MBps" rating is a read speed, and it's partially a lie. You can ONLY achieve that reading with a special Sandisk card reader. Since the card is rated UHS-I, the maximum speed the interface can be clocked at is 105MBytes/sec, so that's the actual maximum read speed you'll see in everything OTHER than the special Sandisk card reader, which overclocks the card faster than the maximum official UHS-I speed.

  • Also don't forget the $5 voucher but you must claim it few days ago

  • Had it in the cart but remembered I have 128gb extreme SanDisk still sealed haha…

  • Ordered the SanDisk High Endurance 128GB micro SD SDXC Memory Card UHS-I U3 V30 for $25.95 on Feb 1st and order is still 'processing' 14 days later

Don't think I will be ordering from Shoppingsquare again
