If its an important feature to u. I would wait. Most of this years line up has hdmi 2.1.
Also i remember watching vincent teoh saying he doubts sony can properly fix the 120hz blur properly
The updates are coming for this TV so you will get VRR, ALLM, and all the other features you like. It's a good tv, but when I looked at them side by side there was a big noticeable difference between this and the X950H. The price is good though, for a TV it's pretty good if you don't have much space in the living room.
The updates did not deliver the features as promised. Never buy a product for a feature to be delivered.
The updates for this TV haven't come yet. Last I heard they were still in the process of implementing them
Traditionally when will the models be available in Australia after being announced in CES?
Around April but could be as late as September
Did they ever end up sorting out the issues with the X9000H TVs? I ended up just waiting for the next run of TVs which will hopefully have features like HDMI 2.1 and 120hz refresh rate more frequently.
