As always, kudos to dealbot for the heads-up on these. You don't need to own the game to redeem them. These are not codes to unlock the game, they're only for unlocking chests to receive special loot. They can be redeemed in-game or through your SHiFT Account online (membership is free) or in-game on respective platforms.

Edit: from comments below it seems that redeeming through Epic is problematic, but persistence may pay off. Please post your experience in the comments. Other platforms don't seem to be affected as much.

      How were you trying it? I just tested through my SHiFT account using the direct link above and it worked fine.

      Same, trying to redeem through Shift for Epic.

      EDIT: Did it a second time and it went through. I did nothing different.

    I was able to redeem on all. Strangely, I only sometimes can redeem on Epic, it doesn't show up most of the time. I don't know if that has to do with the Shift codes, however I don't have the game on Epic so I don't really pay attention, I'm just in a habit of redeeming for all platforms, just in case I get the game on another one at some point.
