  I have never heard of this software. Can anybody give feedback as to how it compares with the Starry Sky software?

    Did you mean Starry Night? That's planetarium software or telescope guiding software. Astro Panel is a Photoshop addon for astrophotography photo processing.

      I should have added 'Stacker' onto the end. 'Starry Sky Stacker' is the stuff…and there's Starry Landscape Stacker and Long Exposure Stacker.

      Not integrated with Adobe PS/LR as plugins, but pretty widely used by landscape astrophotographers. Basically you put your astro shots through that first to align them, reject poorer quality shots, and sum/average/whatever the best shots together before importing the finished product to Adobe/other image editor.
