Hey guys, thought I might share this if you are a fan of Japan, learning Japanese or just love NHK World programs. I used to do this a couple of years ago and it was fun and easy to do.
In short, if you sign up to be a TV monitor for NHK World (the term is from April to September 2021) and you submit your reviews to them (in the format they want), you can get paid 1500 yen per review. That's $18.55 AUD per review by today's conversion. There is a limit as to how many you can submit each month (i believe it's 6) and then at the end of September, they'll transfer the total money oweing to you depending on the amount of reviews you successfully submitted. So if you submit 6 reviews per month over the 6 month term, that's 54,000 YEN into your bank account. Easy! Think of all the bargains you can get with that money.
Some of the prgrams they ask you to review may be of little or no interest to you, but it's not that hard to do when you can watch it from your laptop (as you do other work) and double the speed of the program and then use an excel spreadsheeet to fill in your feedback. Even better if you actually like the program you're reviewing.
The link is here - https://www3.nhk.or.jp/nhkworld/en/monitor/ - you have until Feb 12 to sign up for the April to September 2021 intake.
All the best and happy viewing!
Cool thanks for sharing. I watch a lot of the NHK doco's anyway.
