Kmart?
Cardboard, glue, colourful texta and some different shaped pasta.
i dont think his valentines is a kid - i hope not
Catholic priest?
What flavour glue?
Why is DIY not an option?
I'm thinking OP needs to send quite a few.
eCard?
Page torn out of a notebook with some heartfelt words?
Use a stick and write in the sand?
Seriously though, I'm pretty sure you can find budget versions of cards at Big W/K-Mart/junk shops.
Why is this under Pets?
Don't judge.
I'm not… I just figured Fido (or Fluffy) might have preferred a Pet Toy… lol
on a side topic it is funny how you can always identify a cheap card by no price tag on it whilst the more than 5 dollars are usuallly printed on it.
Then again i have seen the $1.95 ones printed on the cards= i get these— they've got spirit.
That's why you make your own with $12.95 printed on it.
Try reject shop, think they sell for $1
Romantic!
Can send one to both the girlfriends this year!
Check a few recycling depots, there might be some discarded ones there from last year.
A little Whiteout and cost = $0
Cheap as Chips, they have cards ranging from $1.
Perfect for a tighta*** like you OP.
an easier option would just be to break up
Don't break up, "take a break" over upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, Valentine's Day and other obligatory gifting periods.
I think the $1 Card and $1 Coffee from 7/11 are in the lead for the $2 investor.
Shes obviously worth everything in the world to you….
For all you know, maybe $2 is all OP has in the world.
The Reject Shop have a beautiful display of cards for all occasions from 70c to about $3 max. I buy all my cards there now, haven't had the need to peruse the VD cards though.
Significant other only worth $2, hope they find this thread :/
This surely can't be a serious question?
So…. you want to be single and you want them to be the one to end it?
Are you serious?????????????????????
And where are you going for Valentines Day?
McDonalds or KFC ??????????A bit of advice.
Relationships dont last long when you are a cheap-skate my firiend18 years so far.
There’s more to life than valuing self worth and the value of others in monetary terms my friendYou value 18 years with a 20c Valentiones Day card???
And you are not even embarrassed to admit that?Just read the comments here OP.
And if your darling finds this one out they will feel the same
Its never too late to be thrown out the door
DIY is always an option.
Do it sustainable way. No one will ever know. Cardboard, Brown recyclable twine, If you have bad handwriting find a calligrapher.
Just write a cheque to the human find, money for people.
Thanks for all the tips.
Dunno what all that mocking and relationship judging was about.
I got a beaut card in Kmart for $2.
I Spent a bit more on a gift and I’ll grab a bunch of flowers at the servo.
Lunch is booked and the joint account is payingwell thats more like it OP
I hope you spend a lot more than $2.05 on a gift and flowers
Your partner of 18 years must mean everything to you
Have a happy Valentines dayGive it a rest.
Stop being so judgemental.
You know nothing about me and seem to have been psychologically triggered by the fact I dont want to spend money on something that is landfill after one day.
I realise you have low self esteem and are attacking because you value your own self worth on how much something costs but this is a bargain website. You will get very upset very quickly lurking around this site designed for bargain hunters.
I think you are destined for a life of lonely misery unless you change your attitude.
Theres help out there if you need someone to talk to.

Getting a sustainable card or DIY would not be landfill.
Flowers from the servo? Go to the farmers markets & get something freshly cut or get a plant that will last years.
So she is paying for the gift that she is getting and for the lunch?
WOW and they say romance no longer exists.

See I think that’s being snobby
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with servo flowers.
They get their flowers from the same places other retailers do.
Of course the joint account is paying for lunch. It’s a shared expense from shared money and it’s my Valentines Day too.
I bought the gift from my personal spending money so I made personal sacrifice to do that.
I told my spouse when I made this post and they laughed.
They are very different from a lot of people on here in that they understand humour and they recognise that love and respect is demonstrated in many other ways than spending money.
Clearly there’s a lot of people who can only express their emotion by showering their significant other in expensive gifts.
That’s all very well if you have money to burn but I think being mindful that others may not have the income or be in the financial situation to do that is important. Not everyone is as privileged as you.
Negatively criticising and judging those who have different values, priorities and circumstances that you may not understand just isn’t in the spirit of humanity.
$2 Shop?
