Why nitpick at something you cannot verify? Swarovski may or may not have had any design input into the product, but at the least, they do have an agreement that allows Panasonic the use of their gems. Whether that constitutes "teaming up" is subjective, but it could be true in the broadest sense of the term.
If anything, the fail is on the part of Panasonic who came up with the idea, but that is like saying that Monster Beats headphones are a fail because they used Dr Dre's name to inflate value. Different strokes for different people.
Living Social is just offering the product.
I have actually seen these headphones in Japan, and they are not in the 'cheap junk' section. When my Panasonic earphones I bought in Tokyo broke earlier this year (same as these without the Swarovski, the jewel model and broke due to my neglect), I could not find these anywhere in Australia.
Looks legit to me: https://panasonic.ca/english/accessories/headsets/ZrO2/index…
But… meh.
is on every deals website….they must be selling truckloads

This is no junk to me.
I'm pretty sure Swarovski didn't "team up" for this.
Yet another example of cheap crap with factory second (or third) junk jewellery tacked on and trying to play on the Swarovski name to inflate perceived value.
Another daily deal fail.
