Some Qs about The Oppo A52

So a couple of days ago i picked up my Oppo from this deal: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/601107 and i had a couple of Qs i wondered if anyone could assist with.

i generally like it but there are two questions i wondered if anyone could help with. Firstly, every two minutes i get the popup / notification in systray for the below image: I dont know what it's trying to do or how to get rid of it, anyone know?

Secondly, is it really the norm for the phone to close, say, Pokemon Go when i am playing it and just switch to phone settings for 10 seconds, and then when i go back to Poke-Go it has to reload the whole app? Can't it keep it open for such a brief excursion into another app or area of the UI? IS there a setting related to this? I thought it might be the background restrictions in app settings but that didnt seem to resolve the issue? Like, if i am playing Poke-Go and swap to my music player to change song for 10 seconds and come back it has to reload PokeGo? Really??

    I would do a factory restore and start again.

    Looks like a conflict somewhere.

    The Pogo thing, you've gotta set it up so POGO isnt killed when it's in the background. Not sure what oppa call it, power saver or something, but that'll be your issue.

    Thanks for the comments. Having now made some calls i've also noticed the proximity sensor is way, way too sensitive. When i am on a call the slightest motion has the screen flickering on and off and my face is putting people on hold, hanging up etc, not sure if there is a way to turn that off at least?

      the whole idea of that is that when you are talking on the phone your face doesnt accidentally press any buttons on the screen. it's meant to lock the screen not turn off the call

        yeah, its not working. If the phone moves 1 millimetre the screen turns on and i start placing ppl on hold etc : /

          If it's any consolation mine is now turning offf text notifications automatically so i have no idea im getting messages lol

            @Lv80: yes mine just started doing that today too lmao.. wife was like why didnt you reply to my text? and im like what text? bloody phone!

    For the task killing, lock pogo in memory by bringing I it up in the trap switcher, long press on it to bring up options, then hit the padlock icon. This is from memory, pretty sure it's that sequence.

      wow that is genius, thanks so much! I have it padlocked along with my music player now, so hopefully they wont close unnecessarily anymore, cheers!
