Price in the title? 3kg/$85 (beans), $90 ground.

Alternatively seeing as it's (mostly) store wide, something like

Coffee up to 41% off - from $9/250g (Brawn Douglas) free shipping over $50

  • So … ok your "passion is coffee" and you are selling a pack of 2 kg. Average user could do between 20 to 40 grams a day. It makes 2kg last between 50 and 100 days. How good will that "fresh" coffee be in 100 days?

I do about 80g/day, so 2kg would last 25 days.

A machine in a small office can easily do 1kg/week, bigger bags are usually targeted at offices.

      • You are probably the edge case. 80g per day is more than 4 double shots. Hopefully, this is not for one person.
25 days is still fine for the bean but anything beyond that and coffee will be stale.

The office use case is also great.

But for most of people I would feel that getting your 2-3week coffee load (typically 500g) from a local roaster would make much more sense.
Yes, I am a coffee snob.

        • Yes the 4 double shots is for 2 people :)

For me this is a local roaster, and if I was buying I'd probably get their 500g or 1kg bags (to last a week or two).

I'm also a CS & buy my green beans from CS BeanBay :)

    • While you're being downvoted, I agree. This deal isn't suitable for a standard household. The beans will expire way too fast, even in a C02 valve container. I'd be interested in the deal if it was shipped 7-10 days apart.

i reckon packing the coffee into suitable portions (such as 250g, in airtight bags), then freezing it, will allow it to keep much longer, and still remain fresh.

You thaw one individual portions once without exposing it to fresh air, and use it (no re-freezing) as normal.
