Kindle DX

Hey guys anyone know where the Kindle DX can be had for the cheapest price, The ball and chain has requested (read: demanded) it? Also would there be any reason to hold off on the purchase till after xmas/new years incase the price dropped — and lastly any problems with the unit functioning in australia if i bought it from overseas?

    Got my kindle from Amazon direct, works like a charm. 3G one uses the Vodafail network - so be warned.

    Not sure why they would want a DX. I can't see the DX dropping in price. If it was a normal smaller kindle, you may get lucky with a post Christmas Sale at Big W or Dick Smith.
