  • What’s included in the box? 5 pieces of fruits?

    • There are around 15 items in the first box I’ve ordered of fruit / veggies

    • +1

      • Beans [200g]
      • Broccoli [1-2]
      • Brown Onion [2-3]
      • Carrots [500g]
      • Cherry Tomatoes [1]
      • Corn [2]
      • Cos Lettuce [1]
      • Grapes [350g]

So seems alright for $20, but the msrp for $56 seems ridiculous

      • Not even that great for $20 tbh

I don’t think $20 is at all bad for home delivered organic produce. Read my comments further below for my experience though.

          It's a food delivery service!

How much would it cost you for Woolies etc just to deliver groceries?
$13 or $15 delivery charge for me - plus cost of food!

Some like or need their fruit & veggies delivered.

  • BRISBANE only?

  • error 404 - Melbourne delivery not found

  • Title with location plz

  • Anyone used this before? Wondering how easy/painful it is to cancel…. For $20 it's not a bad deal but definitely don't want to be stuck paying $56 for it!

I have used a similar deal before with home fresh organic before. I cancelled after the first box with no issue. I had to email to cancel but it was actioned promptly.
Even for $20 I was disappointed with my produce due to the quality. I was probably the last delivery for the day judging by the time it arrived (after the delivery timeframes) and I believe that is what affected the quality of what I received. We threw a large amount out immediately.
A friend participated in the same deal as I did, received her produce earlier in the morning on a different day and her produce was much better quality.
The volume was good. The price is usually higher than fruit and veg you may normally buy elsewhere as it is organic.

      • Thanks for the feedback. Pretty disappointing to receive dud quality from a specialist fruit and veg supplier!

        • Note that wasn't from this supplier

          But would be very annoying.
          Should demand a refund.
As a person who sold fruit long ago - I gave full refund & another order to keep the customer.

          • @INFIDEL: It was this supplier. I checked their website and it now says they will credit you for any produce you receive that is not up to scratch, but they also have a warning saying that due to the heatwave that produce is expiring more quickly.

            • @loulou1: Oh, that's different!
But if the supplier can't deliver in a saleable condition - they are responsible for refund on wasted produce.

              • @INFIDEL: I sent them pictures just to let them know about the quality but didn’t ask for a refund due to how cheap the box was.

                • +4

@loulou1: Any food supplier who uses the excuse of the weather (except major events like floods) to avoid their responsibilities is not worth dealing with!

I used to sell up to 5 tonne of fruit a day to people in industrial areas. I took responsibility for guaranteeing the quality of the delivered fruit.

Only one time did I ever need to apologise, refund & give a free order. A farmer supplied inferior fruit.

I was proud of the quality of my fruit & had loyal customers.
(It was a social enterprise I established, employing people without work, training & supporting them, with profits going back to community projects.)

  • I went through an order and it didn't charge me so put an order again and was the same. Mailed them to cancel one among them. When are they charging my order? And my order is also empty.

  • Not enough fruit

  • +1

Got my box today. Definitely worth it. The amount of organic fruit is definitely worth $20. I could not get that much fruit at Woolworths or Coles and it wouldn't be organic.

  • got charged $56.60 for my second box and after contacting they're refund the difference from the $20 promo.
