Polyester filling quilt $109 RRP is bullshite
I was a a big fan of goose down quilts until one day I need a a spare quilt asap and got this one for $50. I much prefer it, it's lightweight, cool and warm and just nice.
Each to their own though.
Is it too warm for current Sydney weather?
I'm in Sydney :) I'm sure quilt preference is personal but it is my favourite for both winter and summer.

Polyestater or microfibre quilts are superior to the feather/down nonsense. Feather/down slowly crumble so create fine dust, they flatten over time, degrade over time, and cannot be machine washed.
We have a down quilt that is 17 years old and has been used every day except when it’s hot. We machine wash it and it hasn’t degraded or turned to fine dust as far as I can tell.
Our goose down quilt is over 20 years old. Still very nice. I put it out under the sun twice a year if I remember. We also have a microfiber one and we love it too.
Last time it was $39

I bought this earlier in king size, label on the blanket said Doona instead of a quilt and its very light compared to normal stock standard quilt
