Solar Installation Waiting since October. Only Promises Week to Week

Solar Installation I have been waiting since early October, they promised to install by end of December.

They had said they were ahead by 2 weeks in November so no problem. Since early December I have been ringing every two weeks but they only give lousy excuses. I have paid a $600 deposit on a Delta inverter & 18 x Longi 370 watt panels 6.6KW

STC's are at 2020 prices.

What are my options?

    Ask for your deposit back. Where did you hear of these guys? Through solarquotes.com.au?

    Who did you go through?
    I've just had my solar installed…
    ~8 weeks from initial engagement to installation.

    The warning bell is ringing loudly!
    There is no logical or acceptable reason for such a delay - clearly they have oversold their ability to deliver as promised. Suppliers cut of stock due to payment issues?
    (a) do a service to other OZB'ers and name the company so they do not also fall prey
    (b) start a charge back on your credit card
