I'm just wondering if anybody knows a great deal for a laptop with the following specs, maybe under $1,500 obviously the cheaper the better. Something really that has a good CPU, to futureproof it. It's a desktop replacement and I'm stuck in one room all the time with the desktop. It's for university and I'd like more screen room when studying. I have a small laptop for when I'm out, but a bigger screen would be good when I'm in the house for the big tasks I do. I have a lot of things open
- 17" screen (touchscreen would be amazing)
- CPU that has a benchmark minimum of 15k or greater on cpubenchmark.com
- Not too concerned with graphics
- 16GB+ of RAM (maybe I will need more as I have so many browsers and tabs, I don't really know).
- 256GB+ NVME or something quick to start up.
- At least 2 USB ports
- Removeable battery
- Don't care about weight but it has to sit on my legs and I want to walk.
- MS Windows
- Long battery would be good so I could sit in the garden too.
- Hm maybe a screen that can be bright for the garden lol
I think that's everything I can think of. I don't care about brand etc. Is this asking too much for a big screen?
