Managed to snag 1 of the 3 available for US$9.90 in the Snap Up Australia Day Promotion. Should be getting it soon so can't wait to put it through its paces :)

Cheapest price I could find on eBay/AliExpress was $53. There's several YouTube reviews of it inflating a totally flat car tyre in about 3 mins, should prove useful in case of an emergency or for a quick top up. Compact enough to fit in the glove compartment and all the attachments fold neatly into the unit itself.

  • Has anyone used one of these before?

    • There's plenty of YouTube videos showing it in action, I think there's also one video of it inflating a 4WD tyre. When I get mine I will be sure to report back. I should get it soon as mine shipped from their AU warehouse.

Note: This batch ships from China

  • Ozbargainers inflate their tires up using their mouth

    • It is a bit extreme lol, but I will prefer the traditional one as more reliable.

I was looking at this, but apparently it needs a power source (ie it's not battery powered)… not as useful in the middle of a training field or on a bike ride, and not truly 'portable'.

Good to keep in the car though, I suppose.

Most of us bought the GOOLOO car dump starter which providing 12V out.

    Thanks OP. Got one

I have one of the oval shaped ones with the inbuilt battery that you can buy off fleabay.

Pros: They are great for topping up tyres are down a couple of PSI. Very convenient and beats setting up the garage compressor and dragging a hose around.

Cons: Would really struggle if you had a spare tyre that was nearly flat
All the space saver types these days require pressures around 80+PSI. It may get close, but would take an awfully long time and the pistons in them will get HOT!

Choose AUD to check out, option out the insurance, paid AU$40.62 by Paypal.

  • It is fancy version of this 10.34 bar inflator from supercheap and I keep it in my car for emergency and it does the job. I watched the video of 70mai and its noise is same as supercheap one. IT is bit awkward when you are using it in the car park as it is getting others attention because of the noise and it takes long time to reach proper tyre pressure.
There are bunch of gas stations around and every single of them has the super fast inflators.

I've actually have one and it's so handy to leave in the car. It can pump almost everything used it to pump up my 4wd from 20psi to 42 psi in about 1 min

    • You're pretty happy with it as a compressor for when you go 4wding?

Can anyone suggest something like this that could inflat a Stand Up Paddle board?
