In September I got one of the JB deals with. S20+ for $199 and something like $65 per month. I cancelled within 5 minutes expecting to have to pay an ETC. But its now January, I got nothing but a welcome letter. No bills. Or anything. Has anyone received a bill? Or are you still waiting? Should I contact Telstra? Forget about it?
It basically means I bought a samsung s20+ FOR 199.

i did the same still got etc
when chatting to cancel they straight away mentioned i will get etc.
to be honest i will try to pay. not worth the hassle if in the future you got bad credit rating. yeah i know not your fault, but if that happen what can you do, you need to spend time and headache
This happened to me, I contacted live chat and said I had not received the bill after cancelling a month ago, they said it would come within 7 days which it did not. Not going to spend anymore time chasing up there mistake, I will happily pay the bill if they come asking.
I ported out to Optus at harvey norman to get another gift card lol.
Yep.. seems if you cancel straight away via CS & without inserting the SIM Card you don't get an ETC.
