thanks for the awesome xmas present

  • For the VPS plans, can you install Windows OS but using my own key?

    • Hi mini2,

We do offer Windows Server but unfortunately you can't provide your own license key.

      • No worries then, should've gone for Turnkey while it was discounted.

We may not have Aldi, but at least we get free local hosting :)

  • The only stupid question is the one you don't ask so…

Does one have to reside in Perth to take advantage of this deal or are the servers located in Perth? :P

    • Hi cityofsydney,

Geographical location isn't an issue at all, so feel free to signup for a hosting account :)

      • What's the difference between Perth & Sydney hosting? a fraction of a millisecond in accessing it, I assume?

Also, what happens once a year's up?

    • Hi mattgal,

The bandwidth on our VPS plans is monthly.

  • so just to clarify, i sign up for a yearly VPS and enter "PERTHVPS" and pay for the full year, i'll get 90% off the cost of the year? or just the first month?

    • Hi Pizzaman57,

The promo code is valid monthly and annually.

    • Hi mattgal,
We utilise a pro rata billing system so our clients receive one invoice on their anniversary date. I would imagine that the slight amount above the $249.50 would relate to the added day in the year next year as it is a leap year (less the hours already gone by today).

I hope that isn't too confusing! But if you would like, I can explain it further if you lodge a support ticket :)
