    or 128GB version for ~$306

  • +3

Don't think the extra 64 GB worth $40

    • +3

I agree, but many are happy to not bother with mSD, so it's a decent upgrade for some.

    • Tell that to apple.

      • +4

Apple: f*** you. No charger for you.

        • Samsung: f*** me too please

        • -2

the charger with this phone will be eu or us so as usefull as no charger ….

@garage sale: Spreading false information? 2 Mi phones delivered from BG here recently included AU adapters.
From feedback reports they do this with all countries when necessary.

    • I paid 280 for the 64gig on one previous special, so I could think of it as 26 compared to what I paid.
And it depends if you want two sims or not, you can have two sims or one and sd card, so theres that.

  • I just paid 341$ on Amazon US for a 64gb model. Grr!!

  • Anyone know roughly how long shipping takes.
EDIT: ok ordered and it said 15-20 business days i think

    • +3

Had 2 phones delivered from BG earlier this month. Took about 3 weeks.
There will be very little tracking detail given. In Aust they use Aramex couriers and you may get a track entry when it reaches their warehouse then nothing until delivery.
The phones are well packaged and genuine stock.

  • Does it have B28? Bangood site says no but I looked elsewhere and it says yes.

    • +2

You could torture yourself and go look at previous postings for this and see the discussions ;P
General consensus is yes it does.
I have one, but have no idea how to check for sure if it does or not?
Hardware wise it does, only the indian no NFC version doesnt.
So if it doesnt it would only be a software/rom thing and you can flash other roms.
      So…um….Yes.

Oh and Ive only ever seen the Bangood listing say it doesnt, EVERYWHERE else you look it will say it does.

      • Thanks for saving me from such torture. Majority rules I guess.

Oh and if it helps I CAN tell you the reception on this kicks the butt out of my old cheap phone.
Even when Im on the bus downloads where coming down at great speeds, where as my old phone could cut out here and there….love this phone.

    • +2

      It does have B28.
Kimovil have reliable specs on phones.

      • +1

Cheers. Yeah that's where I looked too.

        • These sellers, not just BG, just copy and paste specs from anywhere.
Here is the link to the makers site… the "gospel on specs for Mi phones".

          • +1

@Cheeper: How hard would it be for them to paste the correct specs? Thanks heaps for that.

            • +1

@khrome: It would give buyers more confidence in dealing with them.
Many sellers do the same thing, even oz based ones. Kogan is one of them.
Best to always check and double check when shopping online anyway.

  • How this phone comparing to Redmi Note 9 Pro ?Which phone come with better camera and better performance?

  • Those of you who have this phone, how do you find the camera? I'm looking to get my wife a new (cheap) phone. The only things she really cares about are battery life and the camera.

    • +1

I found the camera more than sufficient, however, it's obviously not going to perform like the phones 5x the price.

    • +1

      Recommended purchase.
Owned for about 3 weeks, Poco X3 NFC 6/128gb unmodified, except camera, so far.
Happy with battery life. Lite use 3 days unplugged. Normal use 24 hrs unplugged includes couple hours playing Pokemon, txt, news etc - never near 0%.
Like - Settings feature which automatically powers off my Poco overnite.
Camera exceeds my needs - Worth checking out the latest Gcam 8.1.

        "playing Pokemon"

        Doing the real test. :)

  • I used it for 3 months and it is now bricked, showing the message "system has been destroyed".
Quite disappointed with this phone as it got bricked so soon without any special usage such as ROM flashing or system Root.
And it will cost me $120 to fix it, which is quite expensive as it is nearly half of the price for a new one.

    • Can you go into more detail?

      • More detail as in how it happened?
Basically, it happened after an overnight charging or possibly an auto OTA update.
And the next morning, it is bricked and cannot boot into the OS.
The ROM flashing or the EDL solution will not work as I have not got a chance to "unlock" it.

        • I would think that you can write/boot a signed ROM without unlock. So you can't get into fastboot at all without unlock?

Do you suspect bad flash memory in the phone too? Laggy read/write leading up to the failure?

          • @drew442: I tried to use the official tool to flash in the official ROM under fastboot mode but it said that the phone needs to be unlocked.

    • Was your phone from this supplier.warranty?

      • No. It was purchased from the "official Xiaomi Store" on the Aliexpress platform.
And they said no warranty in my case as there is no "official" repair store in AU.
I can only try the "authorized" store at my own expense.
Not sure what Banggood will do if you buy it from them.

        • If you paid with PayPal it's 180 Day protection you could go down that Avenue.

          • @spock: I am afraid now it becomes a lesson for me to learn.
            I did not use PayPal.

            • @newsanzang: Sorry to here that friend, Better luck in the future, fyi I've had massive issues with Banggood with faulty phone. PayPal refunded me.

  • Hmm, Xiaomi + "system has been destroyed " search shows that it has been a long running problem.

  • Thanks OP. bit the bullet to replace my broken Mi9T

  • +1

Thanks, bought one. Now the agony of waiting.

    • +1

Just been through it myself. It is a long 3 weeks especially when there is very little tracking provided.

  • Mine just arrived tonight, 13 days after ordering.
