Fake KFC Australia Facebook Page

Beware I've just come across what i believe is a fake KFC page which comes up in my feed as being sponsored and some no brainer survey quick links to a Google doc. Some scam?

    I love these pages. Shows how stupid some of my facebook friends are when they share competitions from the "Jetstar page", that has only 2000 likes, hoping to win a free trip abroad.

    Also the "real page" you linked is also a fake page.

    Saw the same post. Don't know why facebook allows sponsored posts that are literally virus links

    The number of people who have liked, or rather haven't liked the fake FB pages is the first warning they aren't legit. Fake pages generally have only a couple of likes (all the idiots out there) versus the real pages that have a million +

    The other obvious one of course is no blue 'verified' tick.

    The US KFC twitter account follows only 11 people, the 5 Spice Girls and 6 people named Herb.

    People don't realise you can see when facebook pages are created if you look in the about section.

    Most of these scam pages are less than a day old.

    Report the page and move on. Facebook will hopefully remove them for the scammers to create a new one tomorrow.
