Comfortable Couch at Affordable Price Options

Hi All,

Seeking some helpful input into who the right direction where you have scored a good deal on couches/sofas whilst being on a grad budget. Moving away from home for the first time and want to ideally find a lounge room couch that won’t break the bank but also not the back!

Don’t want to spend too much that I’d end up sharing with my housemate albeit good friend, max of 1.5k but ideally under 1k

Open to any suggestions where you have found deals and even keen to hear about experiences from marketplace and the like for couches.

    Budget would be helpful.

    My last couch I bought was $8000 and I was comfortable doing so, but no point recommending it or where I got it etc if it's outside of your reach.

      Thanks for that, did make reference to being on a grad budget but updated in body now. Wish I was comfortable with the 8k couch splurge

    Look at Koala! Very comfy and large. Lots of cheap couches are very small.

    What's wrong with FB Marketplace/Gumtree? Buy someone's 3yo couch that they paid $3k for, and get it for $800

    Got ours from Ikea (Kivik range) and it's excellent and a really good price too.

    Ikea Kivik is pretty damn good value
