EveryPlate Upsized $35 Cashback + $10 Challenge Cashback + 40% off First Box @ ShopBack

90

Just noticed that ShopBack has upsized their EveryPlate cashback offer from $10 previously to now $35 cashback. I don't know how long this upsize runs for.

Promo1

In addition, their list of promotions shows that for today only (27/01/2021), you can get $40 40% off your first box**, plus an additional $10 cashback if you purchase via the link in the in-app challenge (first 200 to complete, currently showing 37/200). I think you will also get the new $35 cashback on top all that too.

EDIT: updated title to reflect the ShopBack update (it’s now showing 40% off first box (instead of $40 off) + $10 cash back bonus if completed via in-app challenge

Promo2

Alternatively, they have a separate promotion for 40% off your first box if using coupon SHOPPLATE (expiry date not listed) and you can get the $35 cashback too. This discount does not apply to the delivery fee ($9.99 to Brisbane).

I didn't see the first promo so I ended up getting this second one but thought I'd share the details of the first promo in case it helps anyone else out.

For that price I'm willing to give them a try, despite a few reviews here suggesting they are the budget version of HelloFresh. I'll provide a review after I receive my order.

I think there was an error, which has now been fixed. It did say $40 per your title, but should have read 40% (which it now does).

Thanks for the heads up. Updated title and description.

      • Do you think it's two distinct promos or just one promo with 3 sources of savings?

        • regular $35 cashback
        • bonus $10 challenge
        • 40% off coupon first time users.

I've noticed ShopBack making more mistakes like this.

My trust in them is certainly evaporating after previously being an advocate of theirs.

  • i can't see the 40% off when going through the challenge though, is it possible that we will still need to use the promo code even in challenges

      I used it.

Brought the price to $35 for 3 x2 meal pack (minimum order).

If the $35 and the bonus $10 are paid, it can only be win win.

  • For that price I'm willing to give them a try, despite a few reviews here suggesting they are the budget version of HelloFresh.

It does look like a less professional version of hello fresh…… Meals look quite basic…. Sausages and chips… LOL.

All going well, it equates to a free trial. Can't complain! Thanks.

    • I ended up getting $70 worth for $15(assuming I get the $35 cash back. it’s already tracked within 2hours )

If I had gone via the $10 challenge it would have cost me $5 for 10meals. I’ll eat sausages and chips no complaints :-)

      • Sausages and chips are a safe bet!

        Fingers x'ed re. the cashback.

  • Despicable tactic of automatically "selecting" your meal for the coming week so if you forget to skip or cancel by the deadline they'll get you…

Also after paying with paypal i went in to paypal to cancel the recurring payment but an error pops up every time i try to do it… not sure what's going on

    • You can select your meals, but oddly this is the final step (after payment).

All these subscription meal services are "out to get you". It's a very ruthless business model. Hello Fresh are the worst!

I'm going to cancel my PayPal now.

Edit: it's not even showing up as an "automatic payment" on my PayPal account.

      • Same not sure what's going on lol

        • Still important to cancel after the first delivery though.

Hello Fresh will continue to bill you even if your payment fails. They'll then send this to a debt collection agency if you refuse to pay by another method.

There is nothing to suggest this company will do the same, but why risk it!

        • The PayPal authorisation appears under "Hello Fresh". I thought that was leftover from a previous trial of Hello Fresh, but no.

          EveryPlate is owned by HelloFresh.

          • @ash2000: That's a nice how do you do! Thanks, cancelling now.

            • @FutureTech: Remember to still cancel via their system, or they will pursue you via a collection agent.

  • I bought this with the last deal and the dishes seemed so basic I got it refunded.

    • So you never got to trial it?

  • Gave it a go! At worst they pay me $9.85 to try them out. The meals do seem pretty basic & not being able to see/chose them until after payment is an interesting feature but I'll reserve judgement until I've eaten the meals.

Can I cancel right away or so I need to wait until the first delivery arrives?

    • You can review the meals via their menu before ordering but once you start the ordering process, you need to submit payment details before choosing your actual meals.

I don’t see why you can’t cancel right away. I think the condition is that this is done at least a week before your delivery date.

    • Just tracked…
      $35 everplate
      $10 bonus (everyplate)
      $2 spend $4.40+ bonus.

Nice hopefully it won't take 3 months

      • 40% off code during checkout.?

        • Yes I had to enter it at checkout.
SHOPPLATE was listed in ShopBack, I thought it would auto apply for 1st orders but didn't for me.

          • @Clarky77: Nice…… sounds like a perfectly executed quadrella of discounts!

Tried it earlier this month. Super disappointed. Meals were below average and some ingredients not fresh. Definitely not worth even half the normal price.

  • is it expired? i am seeing $10 cashback not $35

  • Looks like the $35 upsize has reverted back to the standard $10 cash back. There’s still the 40% first box SHOPPLATE promo code available but might not be worth it based on other people’s feedback
